    Ireland to host the European Baseball Championship Qualifying Tournamnet

    Baseball Ireland is hosting the the 2018 European Baseball Championship Qualifying Tournament, July 23rd to 28th. Games will be held at the International Baseball Centre, home of the Ashbourne Giants. Competing teams are Ireland, Finland, Norway, Greece and Slovenia.

    Ashbourne Giants Looking for Players

    The Ashbourne Giants are looking for players for its Adult A and B teams. Spring training sessions are happening at the Donaghmore GAA in Ashbourne every Saturday (5-7 pm) until March 10th. Non-members welcome. Cost €10 (€5 if under 18)

    Adult baseball spring training sessions are beginning for the upcoming season. Members, nonmembers and beginners welcome. Dates: Every Saturday at 5 pm from January 3 through March 10th, 2018 Location: Donaghmore GAA Club, Ashbourne, Co Meath Ages 13+ Cost €10 per session.     The Ashbourne Giants Little Leaguers pulled of the Threepeat in winning the Irish Baseball League Little League Championships.

    Unfortunately, all games for today have been cancelled. Final places have been decided by points with Mexico in first, followed by Ireland in second, USA in third and Belgium in fourth. Prize giving is scheduled for 3:30 in Swans Pub Curragha, Co. Meath. Hope to see you there.
