    Baseball Ireland and Ashbourne Baseball have been awarded a European Baseball Qualifying Tournament.  The tournament will be held from July 25-28 at the International Baseball Centre.  Joining Ireland in its pool will be Austria, Bulgaria and Norway.     The Warriors, a joint cadet team made up of members of the Ashbourne Giants and Dublin City Hurricane won the first cadet league title with a 7-3 record. The Warriors tied with Marineres Baseball but won the league based on head to head results.
