Ashbourne Giants Little League team took on the Tullamore Tigers today in Corkagh Park for a double-header. The Giants came away with 2 good wins, the first game 15-4 and the second game 15-10. Both teams brought their bats this time as there were hits all around the park from both sides, including many extra base hits. The Giants players were hitting aggressively and Giants pitching also did the job in holding the Tigers. Well done to all the Giants Little Leaguers and we look forward to playing the Greystones Mariners in Greystones next Sunday!
