Baseball Ireland and Softball Ireland have announced that the start of the 2020 season will be delayed due to the COVID 19 pandemic. All clubs have been instructed to cease all baseball related activities until further notice.

Winter Training Under Way
Winter training began January 11th for Ashbourne Baseball at the Donaghmore Ashbourne GAA club. New this year is sessions for our little leaguers and coed softball team. Great attendance for all sessions. The teams are looking strong for the upcoming season with many new members.

Introducing the Ashbourne Antlers
The Ashbourne Baseball family continues to grow with the introduction of the Ashbourne Antlers. The Antlers are Ashbourne’s first coed slow pitch softball team. President’s Nine Win 2019 IBF
Congratulations to the President’s Nine, Champions of the 2019 IBF. The President’s Nine went 1-1 in the round robin portion of the tournament, finishing second behind the undefeated Irish National Team. They exacted their revenge in the final, beating the Irish National Team 12-7 in a rain shortened game.
